Winner in Casino de Torrequebrada.. Nacho Lopez

A strong effort by Nacho Lopez during the day where he had a made all the correct decisions to secure the win here in the Spanish Poker Championship.

The last hand both players played and on the flop was : A-2-J. Juan checked and Nacho bet 200.0000 which Juan called. The turn came a 9 and once again Juan checked and then Nacho went all-in which Juan called and Nacho showed A-9 for two pair and Juan had A-5 for one pair of Aces. The only card which could have saved him would have been a J but it went in to hiding on the river and it was all over.

Congratulations to Nacho Lopez winner of 30.000€ and of course the runner up Juan Roelas who won 16.000 and all the players during the 3 days of the tournament.

Another day another final

Johan final158 players later, with the sun shining outside the casino de torrequebrada and the chips and cards flying around for 2 days we have finally begun the final.

On the Spanish Side we have our Freerolling player Jose Antonio Espejo who qualified through EuroSuperPoker.com first through a Freeroll, then he won that and came to our 10€ satellite and then he came to our Weekly and won a 1000€ package to this event.

Could we see a Spanish Chris Moneymaker here? Well he might as he starts today with 89.000 in chips .

On the international side we have only Johan Wengelin as we told you yesterday and he starts the day with 61.000 in chips.
