The end of Spanish Poker championship in Barcelona

2c2baFran Garcia was on his 2nd final table in the Spanish Poker championship when he played one of the longest headsup against Marcelo. Fran Garcia was constantly banged to the ground and in the end he found himself all-in with 8-3 and Marcelo had 4-4 and with no 8-3 on the board: 75Q55 he once again finished 2nd place.

3c2baA pact was made between the last three players and so J. Antonio, who was guaranteed atleast €40.000, made a big re-raise on Fran Garcias initial raise. Marcelo went all-in with 2.3 Million chips whereas Fran folded and J. Antonio called with A-4 but Marcelo had A-K and with no 4 on the board. J. Antonio went out in 3rd place.

4c2ba-besalduchMarcelo Camús raised from cutoff position with 400.000 and José re-raised him all-in with K-Q . Marcelo had 10-10  which gave him a slight lead in this coin flip. A Queen came on the flop giving José a lead in the hand but a 10 came on the turn and there was no return for José who finished in 4th place.

fernando-marcoJ. Antonio Iñíguez raise with 400.000 from cut-off position. Fernando went all-in with 10-9 suited and J- Antonio called with A-K. A King on the river and no escapes on the rest of the cards for Marco gave him a nice 5th place.

6c2baThe German Harmut was the last non Spanish player on the table and he finished in 6th place by playing very tight. He raised from the Button with his last 400.000 with K-10 and Fran Carcia called instantly with A-K. It all came down to the final card as they both had a flush draw but Fran Garcia took it down with his Ace high flush.

pua1J. Antonio Iñíguez de Gordoa raised to 240.000 in middle position. Oscar went all-in with A-K only to be called by A-A from Jose Antonio. The cards came  9T464 and Oscar went out in 7th place.
